Giorgio Corraretti graduated from the University of Perugia in Italy presenting a dissertation on the surgical treatment of the equine recurrent uveitis.

After graduating, Giorgio spent one year working in Italy in a first opinion equine practice with a focus on racehorses. In the search of improving his skills he moved to Holland for a period and shortly after he successfully completed a one-year rotating internship at our clinic. Thereafter he worked in England with different types of sport and leisure horses for several years. There, he started to work towards his Certificate in Equine Orthopedic Surgery. He also became a FEI permitted treating veterinarian.

Since October 2017 Giorgio joined us again to broaden our team with a focus on equine surgery, orthopedic and poor performance investigation. He finished the approved European College of Veterinary Surgeons residency program in October 2020 and he is now eligible to become European Specialist in Equine Surgery.
