She obtained\u00a0the renowned title of European Specialist of Internal Medicine (ECEIM)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>She worked in an ambulatory practice during 1 year, after an internship position at the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Ghent. Since 2007 she joined the team of Equine Clinic De Bosdreef. There she took care of internal medicine cases and anaesthesiology of the horses. She also started the training program to become European Specialist in Internal Medicine at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/European College of Equine Internal Medicine\">European College of\u00a0Equine Internal Medicine (ECEIM)<\/a>. In february 2012, Katrien Palmers\u00a0moved to Asse where she completed the team of Equine Clinic De Morette.
